To increase awareness of art and of the city they live in, we are implementing the      Intellectual Literacy Project in the Kindergarten.  Every month our students learn about one composer, one artist, and one of Istanbul’s symbols.

Our students studied the works of Kandinsky and Osman Hamdi in October, and Leonardo Da Vinci in November and then they made their own pictures using various techniques.  Carl Orff and Mozart were also introduced, and our students listened to their compositions throughout the month.  So far, our students have learned about Anadolu Hisarı, Rumeli Hisarı and the Galata Tower.

In December, our subjects are Abidin Dino, Beethoven and Hagia Sophia.
