In the kindergarten, to learn more about our unit on stamina, the writer, Ms. Defne Ongun Müminoğlu, was a guest in our classrooms.  Her books, “You Can Say No”, “I am Protecting Myself”, and “Strangers” are all related to this unit.  She explained the steps to writing a book, and she introduced us to the characters Burcu and Berk, and talked about how these two characters protect themselves in her stories.  We discussed ways of how to keep safe, and then we asked questions.  We are very grateful to her for visiting our school.
