In the kindergarten we have been thinking about parts and whole pieces while working on our planning skills.  With this in mind, we made puzzles out of our own portraits.  We used the photos taken by our teachers and planned out how many pieces our puzzles should be. We decided if the puzzle pieces should be big or small, a lot or a few pieces, and then we drew the puzzles on the back of our pictures.  We cut these out and made our own puzzles.
