In the kindergarten, we have been improving our auditory and visual skills using blocks to practice following instructions. First, to work on visual skills, we made shapes out of blocks, while looking at cards our teachers showed us. Then we were given blank cards so that we could recreate the same shapes and colors. Next, to work on listening skills, we got into pairs and tried to create the same shape without looking at the cards. This time we were only listening to our friends’ instructions.  We had to listen carefully so that we could make the same shape with the blocks.
