Coding is another word for the correct sequencing and decision making process.  Kindergarten students have been working on different activities to enhance their coding basic skills.  Students begin the day by planning the day, talking about their schedule, deciding which stratergies they will be using for their activities and finally following out their daily plans.

By using this system, students become aware of the connection between sytematic thinking, problem solving, creative thinking, strategy development and are able to make better decisions.

Following the initial introduction to coding, Kindergarten students were introduced to Cubetto this week.  Students enjoyed learning about our friendly robot Cubetto and talked about how they could program it using sequencing and basic coding skills previously covered in the class.
