Kindergarten students learned about the importance of saving and conservation, and about things that are produced and made in Turkey, as part of Conservation and Turkish Goods Week, celebrated 12-16 December every year.  They also read poems and made paper crowns decorated with fruit.  The students all brought goods that were from Turkey from home and had a special snack in their classrooms.  They enjoyed hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds, apples, pears, oranges, etc., and our students even made creative designs on their plates with all the goodies.
