We say hello to the new day with a circle dance.
A new year, a new class, new teachers and new friends…..We were a little excited about how the first dance activity would be, but generally, we were all eager and interested. In September, we introduced ourselves, met new friends, and got used to our school and our new teachers. We realized that together we made a group, so, we felt that we were ready for a school activity. Since the beginning of October, we have been starting the school day with an Orff activity, the circle dance. Every morning, we gather in the school corridors to welcome the new day. We take our place with neighboring classes. The music begins and we take rhythmic steps and follow each other’s movements. Together we start the morning on a positive note. Here’s to many more happy and healthy days…
