On Wednesday, October 25th Üsküdar SEV had a record number of middle schoolers attend the annual Halloween Dance.  We began our festivities with a feast consisting of pizza and lemonade.  With our stomachs filled, the staff and student body descended on the dance floor and proceeded to boogie the afternoon away.  Our resident DJ, Igor Juri, played the latest pop tunes.  Students and faculty alike were decked out in scary costumes.

In addition to the dance, we enjoyed a variety of activities including:  face painting, fortune telling, a number of arcade-type games, and a particularly innovative activity called ‘Booty Shake’.  The winner of the costume contest was Ayşe Ataç, whose headless woman outfit was truly scary.  A great time was had by all.
