We started the topic of collections with a visit by our parent, Mr. Hasan Başmısırlı. He is a collector and explained to the students what a collection is, how to decide what to collect. After his visit, each class chose what to collect and began to gather items. The Blue Stars collected postcards, the Purple Stars had candles, The Yellow and Green Stars displayed their pens, and the Green Stars showed off their bookmarks. We examined the other class collections and excitedly talked with our friends about them.
