As fourth graders, we made a wonderful trip in Istanbul about the "I Know My Past" unit of our Social Studies course. We had a guided tour and visited the Beylerbeyi Palace, the Hidiv Pavillion and the Küçüksu Pavillion. We were so impressed that we felt like we are in a dream. At Cemile Sultan Corps, we had lunch accompanied with a wonderful view. Then, we did a panoramic tour in Uskudar. There, we saw the Maiden's Tower and learnt its story from our guide. When we have noticed how these structures reflect our past, we understood that we have to protect our history. We were very pleased to eat Kanlıca yoghurt while resting. Since we are approaching to graduating from elementary school, we enjoyed this trip in which we spent time with our friends and teachers.
