In line with our internationalism mission and international library week, 1^st and 2^nd grade students met the well-known classroom readers’- Potato Pals- author, Patrick Jackson on Tuesday, March 20^th. After telling students how he created the characters and the plot, he read one of the earliest books in the series “In the Kitchen”. Then, he read “On a Camping Trip” and sang along with the students. Our school’s eco- team planted the shamrocks Patrick had brought from Ireland to our school’s greenhouse. It was a day filled with joy and cultural sharing.
