This week all of the students celebrated the international holiday “Halloween” during their English lessons. These various activities in each grade level allowed students to show a respect and appreciation for other cultures of the world which celebrate Halloween in their countries. By partaking in reading and writing activities, playing games and listening to music or singing songs with Halloween themes, students are taking on an international mindset and continuing to grow as global citizens. Additionally, students are igniting their curiosity about different nations and cultures of the world and learning how different people around the world celebrate this enjoyable holiday for children and adults alike. The teachers and students had a great time celebrating this culturally significant holiday together at school.
