Book Week, November 2015 found first and second graders in the library to make telescopes so that they could look up, down, left, right, and all around like Jeremy Pope with his telescope in the book Shark in the Park by Nick Sharratt. After lıstenıng to the story, students took theır telescopes outsıde to look for a shark ın the park.  Third and fourth graders were treated to Library BINGO during lunch recess, complete with books for prizes.  They listened carefully as library words were called out for them to read and find on their BINGO card.  Red House Publishing will also be hosting a book fair on third floor so that students may purchase books of their own.  Our hope during book week and all year long, is to instill a lifelong love of reading.
