Grade 1 students have been learning about shapes this week. They read a book called ‘Shapes in Nature’ and then went outside and looked for all the different shapes they could find. It was a very exciting and interesting treasure hunt! They found leaves that looked like ovals, flowers that looked like hearts and trees in the shape of a rectangle. They followed the schools motto of ‘respect’ very carefully and made sure not to spoil the natural world around them.
