Our 4th grade students in their English classes wore their pajamas while reading “The Polar Express” story, learning about the characters, the plot and the difference between Christmas and New Year. It was an excellent opportunity for them to learn about global citizenship.  It helps create a different atmosphere for students to use their language by giving them an opportunity to theme-based learning. At the beginning of the week, they were surprised by the class door and corridor decorations which created curiosity towards the theme and lessons.
