School is more than just an educational institution for children, it is also an environment in which they live, grow and socialize with other children of their age. Discovering, getting accustomed to and feeling at ease in the school in which they will spend the biggest part of their days makes children more at ease and contributes to their academic success.
The Orientation Programs for preschool, grade 1 and transfer students help children to adapt easily to their new school. Because living alongside people they have never met before in an unfamiliar environment can be a cause of stress for some children, the orientation program is held before school begins.
Preschool and Grade 1 and Grade 5 Orientation
This program for students and parents aims to introduce students to their teachers and give information about the school calendar and the school’s physical layout and activities.
Transfer Student Orientation
A half-day orientation program is held for transfer students one week before school opens.
