To celebrate Winter Festival, our Grade 2 students read the story “ One Snowy Night” during library hour and they learned many new words about winter. As a follow-up, they wrote about their favorite winter activities and decorated their hot chocolate mugs as a basis to paragraph writing. Our students then had fun decorating their party hats for the new year. Winter is fun at second grade!
