During the week of January 2-6, 4th Graders created “Black and White Collages” in their Art Lessons. Students experimented with variations of white forms on black backgrounds to create unique works of art. This lesson was an introductory lesson on “Value.” As an Element of Art, “Value” refers to the lightness or darkness of a color.
