This week we celebrated Pi Week in English Math and Science class.  The students listened to the music of Pi.  They learned how to measure the diameter of a circle and use this data to find the circumference of a circle. They went on a QR Code Scavenger Hunt using their research skill to find out even more about Pi.  Our fourth graders used a new photography app, Percolator, to turn their pictures of circular objects into circular works of art. Each student received a quarter of a circle to decorate.  The collective effort of their work produced beautiful and unique circle art.  As a keepsake from all the fun of the week our 4th grade students are going to receive a Pi Week Badge.
