To kick off our party unit, 1st Graders created food from playdoh. There were fruits and vegetables, main course foods, as well as pastries! This project allowed students to work with shapes and colors while learning new vocabulary. Afterwards, we practiced asking questions and answered questions about foods we like and don’t like.
