From Uskudar SEV Elementary School….

Our students were informed about earthquakes and how to act safely during an earthquake.  Our students discussed this topic with their classroom teachers and watched a presentation about earthquakes.  Today earthquake drill was executed.  After the siren simulating an earthquake ended, the entire SEV elementary student body, faculty and staff exited the building as quietly and quickly as possible.  At the safety meeting area attendance was taken by each teacher who had a class during the drill.  Students will continue their education about earthquakes and periodically have other earthquake drills to practice how to safely evacuate the building.
