Our fourth grade students have been hard at work in our greenhouse.  We have planted lettuce, rocket, zucchini, parsley, green onion, beans, pumpkins, dill, eggplant and several different kinds of flowers. Students are responsible for monitoring the temperature and humidity of our greenhouse as well as track data about the local weather conditions. Students have made garden signs with the name of each plant and have researched information about the water and sun needs of each plant. We have been able to serve three eco-salads this year right from our greenhouse. All of this hard work is in connection with one of our international Eco projects entitled, Eco-Schools Toyota Biodiversity Educational Project.  Our school has been involved in The Great Plant Hunt division of this project for the last two years.  We are very proud of the ecological contribution that our students are making.
