In line with becoming an eco- school, after reading “Octopus’s Garden” by Ringo Starr and discussing the ways to protect marine life, 2nd grade students created their own recycled classroom aquariums in English lessons. Each student chose their own cutout of an aquatic life form and colored it with the color of their choice. Students were also given recycled scrap paper to color and then crumble to form the rocks of the aquarium.
