In the 2nd Grade this week we celebrated World Read Aloud Day in our Project Lessons by reading Dr. Suess’s Horton Hears a Who story. Ms. Maggie read the story aloud to the class and we practiced our story retelling skills by discussing the characters, setting, and plot of the story. The story focuses on showing kindness to everyone, no matter their differences and is a theme we will continue to cover in the 2nd Semester.
