Philosophy for Children
In our Philosophy for Children courses we aim to develop our students' thinking, questioning, criticizing, questioning and interpreting skills, producing ideas in groups, self-expression, listening and speaking skills. In addition, it is our primary goal to cultivate the existing curiosity in children and to ensure that they use the above skills in the face of dogmatic and unquestioned situations. In our lessons, in which different ideas are shared and time is spent thinking, a philosophical concept or problem is discussed by forming the Interrogating Democratic Circle. Our students are enabled to adopt discussion by experiencing, reinforce their own discussions with different activities and to express themselves in different ways.
