"Music,
In your depths we deposit our hearts and souls.
Thou hast taught us to see with our ears
And hear with our hearts.”
Khalil Gibran (Lebanese-American philosopher and writer)
In our music lessons, we encourage students to love music and have an interest in music, develop their creativity and express themselves through music. By recognizing basic music texts suitable for their age group, acknowledging and distinguishing national and international music genres, playing the instruments appropriate to their level, singing songs and experiencing individual and collective playing and singing experiences, we aim for our students to move their body in accordance with the music and to strengthen their auditory perceptions. In line with these goals, basic music education is given to our students through collective music lessons that we conduct in 1st and 2nd grade classes.
Our students are placed in one of the violin, guitar and piano branches that they have chosen according to their interests and abilities as of grade 3. In our 3rd and 4th grade classes, performance opportunities are created to reveal the diverse talents of our students.
