Prof. Dr. Feryal Özel was with us!
Prof. Dr. Feryal Özel- a UAA graduate, a successful astrophysician in NASA and a current professor at Arizona State University- was our guest today.
She is listed among the most 20 most famous mathematicians along with Albert Einstein and John Nash and known as the “World’s Smartest Woman”.
She had a talk with our 7th and 8th graders about the neutron stars and black holes. Most of our students were inspired by her talk. We would like to thank her for her time and priceless speech.
