On Saturday, February 27 2016, Uskudar SEV Middle School organized an event for the promotion of the Maker Movement to the 5th graders and their parents. Our students and parents who participated in this activity were informed about the philosophy of the Maker Movement while designing their own products in 5 different stations. They had the opportunity to design their own busts with a 3D printer, to play piano with a banana by connecting it to a circuit board at the Makey Makey station, robot coding at the robot station, and simple machine production at the Lego station. Besides, our students experienced the virtual reality with the VR glasses and they shared the products they produced with each other during the break times. In this event organized by Uskudar SEV Middle School and the department of Information and Educational Technology, our students and parents enjoyed producing and spending time with our teachers and their friends.
