This week our students learned about the celebration that takes place in the north of Spain. Our aim is to introduce our students with the region that is famous for its chestnuts. The Spanish class’ students participated in a poster contest, watched a video about the celebration, sang songs and learned a lot about this festival. On Friday, all our students ate fajitas, enjoyed Spanish music and the spirit of MAGOSTO.

The winners of the contest were awarded with a great lunch at a Mexican restaurant. They had the opportunity to taste dishes such as' Mexican quesadillas, strong tacos, enchiladas, corn and rice. The winners really enjoyed this activity that brought them closer to the Latin culture.
