The focus of our conference, Flexibility, was inspired by one of our school mottoes. When we apply this motto to our English classes, we always bear in mind the possibility of expecting the unexpected even in the best planned lessons. Sometimes, this is a revised lesson plan due to the students who are late to classes after their PE classes. Sometimes, this means reorganizing a new activity in order to answer the interesting questions of our students. Sometimes, students may need the reinforcement of a language structure while studying a novel. For this reason, methods of effective lesson planning and the techniques and approaches behind these methods were reviewed in the conference.
